mEET FRANCISCO

A Parent, Advocate, and School Board Member

Francisco Cueto is a UC Riverside graduate, local parent, and current Jurupa Unified School Board Member representing Trustee Area 3.

As a father with children attending district schools, Francisco brings a parent's perspective to his service on the School Board. His family's personal experience navigating the IEP process has also given him firsthand insight into the importance of communication, resources, and family involvement in a child's education.

His work on the Board includes issues affecting Special Education and IEP families, parent-teacher communication, student opportunities, and campus support.

Higher Education

University of California, Riverside (UCR) graduate, Class of 2008.

Board Service

Appointed to the JUSD Board of Education on March 17, 2026, after a public interview and selection process involving eight applicants, to serve Trustee Area 3.

Professional Background

Background in finance, investment analysis, and risk management, bringing financial experience and a focus on fiscal oversight to district governance.

JUSD Parent & Advocate

Father of students attending JUSD schools, bringing a direct parent perspective and firsthand experience with the district to his service on the Board.

Personal Experience with Special Education

As a parent who has personally navigated the IEP process, Francisco understands the importance of clear communication, access to resources, and ensuring families understand the support available to their children.
